Rose M. Arnold

Grants Manager

In concert with the senior grants manager, Rose M. Arnold implements the administrative aspects of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation's grantmaking and oversees production of the docket for quarterly board meetings. Also, she has developed standard internal practices for disaster relief and recovery grants, PATRIOT ACT compliance procedures, database reporting, and file retention. Prior to joining the Foundation in 1989, Arnold worked for eight years in a grants administration role for a civil attorney who managed a family foundation supporting biomedical research. In her early years with the Hilton Foundation, she helped the Foundation keep pace with growth by providing support to human resources, streamlining procedures, and implementing an automated grants database. She has served as grants manager since 1997. Arnold was a founding member of the Southern California Regional Chapter of the Grants Managers Network.
