Eric M. Hilton

Eric M. Hilton is the youngest son of our founder, Conrad N. Hilton and former vice chairman of Hilton Hotels Corporation. He began his career with Hilton Hotels in 1949 and held a number of management positions throughout the country. Prior to his election to vice chairman in 1993, Hilton served as executive vice president and a director of the corporation and as president and a director of Conrad International Hotels.

Hilton now serves on the boards of the Little League Foundation and Three Square, a nonprofit organization that collects and distributes food in Southern Nevada. He is chairman of the board of the BEST Foundation for a Drug-Free Tomorrow and serves on the seven-member international jury that selects the recipient of the annual $1.5 million Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize. In addition, he serves on the advisory board of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. He previously served on the board of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda.

Hilton attended Texas Western College for two years and had just been accepted to the Cornell Hotel School when he was drafted and instead served as a radar specialist in the Korean War. He received the American Vocational Association Award of Merit and has been honored with the Alumni President's Award and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the University of Houston, where he has also been inducted into the Hospitality Industry Hall of Honor.
